SARSEF stands against racial inequality. Equity is a core value our organization strives to achieve daily. However, equity in education, science and engineering will never be achieved without action and a broader recognition of the impact racial injustice has in our daily lives.

Change starts with each one of us. We simply must be better. We must demand better.

Expect More Arizona respects and values the diverse perspectives that represent education in our state, but we can do more to live up to this core value.

The events of the past few weeks call for us to reinforce our desire for health and justice for those in need in our society. That includes our Black Americans. We abhor violence and vehemently condemn any abuse of power against the vulnerable. #blackouttuesday
