DuSable Park honors Jean Baptiste Pointe du Sable, the first non-Native American settler in Chicago. Plans are underway to design his namesake park on a 3-acres along Lake Michigan. Your input is welcome at the Community Meeting on Oct. 5 at 5:30 pm. ▶️

At Thursday and Saturday’s performances, @MaestroMuti presented seven retiring CSO musicians with the Theodore Thomas Medallion, an award recognizing their distinguished service to the CSO. A postconcert celebration in Symphony Center’s Grainger Ballroom followed.
