Founded in 2002 by the former senior vice president for community development at United Way of Greater Los Angeles in association with nine seasoned nonprofit executives with extensive experience in serving diverse communities, Third Sector Company, Inc., was created to “foster a continuity of leadership for the nonprofit sector.”

Third Sector Company offers interim executive candidates continuing learning programs, certificates and designations of achievement to enhance their abilities to serve as successful transitional leaders.

Board Chairs Academy presents six learning modules associated with evolving a nonprofit board, using a three-part process.
